I Celebrate

Hey everyone!
Happy Easter!
A couple days ago, I had this idea for a poem(not much of a poem person) but felt like I should right it down. So I'd like to share it with you today. Just reading the crucifixion story and thinking about all that Jesus went through for me and you was just amazing. There are so many time were, if I were Him, I would have sinned, and yet He bore all the humility and pain without sinning once! It is so crazy to think about that! Have a wonderful Easter!

I Celebrate

Because He came down to earth
Because He became a man
Because He lived a perfect life
Because He came to serve
Because He loved those who scorned Him
Because he was obedient even unto death
Because He did not call upon a thousand angels to rescue Him
Because He spoke not a word in His defense
Because He was mocked, scourged and hung
Because He said, "It is finished"
Because He took upon Himself the sin of the world
Because He was buried and raised on the third day
Because He now is victorious over death
Because He did this for me
I celebrate!

Fish Tacos: An Easy Way

Its been a while since I posted a recipe and I have had this one for a couple years. So for those of you who like tuna sandwiches (like me) but get tired of them after a while, here is something new. Make fish tacos! Here is a version I made up which is pretty easy and tastes great if not close to a normal fish taco!
Enjoy

Ingredients:
can of tuna
mayonnaise
green cabbage
corn tortillas
lime
oil
tarter sauce( ranch dressing works)

Directions:
Pour oil into a hot pan (if it is hot enough it should really sizzle). Place tortilla in pan and wait until slightly crispy then flip. Mix the tuna and mayonnaise together(to taste). Place the tuna on top of the tortilla  squeeze some lime juice on top and garnish with thinly sliced cabbage. Finish by drizzling tarter sauce on top.

A Day in Fallbrook

A couple  weeks ago my dad and I left the house at 6 am to take a couple fasteners that his company makes to a photo shoot! The man who did the photo shoot,  Bruce Jenkin, not only takes pictures of products but food. Learning this I wanted to tag along. It was really interesting watching how the parts were set up and seeing all the work that went into each photo! He showed me around his place, including an area where he kept his collection of rusted paint cans and old doors. So a good part of the time, I wandered around his property taking pictures! I even got to set up a product shot of a couple bolts! It was such an awesome experience!!

Enjoy
