Day 1 of San Francisco/ Monterrey/ Carmel Trip

Our next vacation, after going to Yosemite, was a drive up the coast to San Francisco. On the way back down we stopped in Monterrey and Carmel. We left the day after Lauren graduated!

So we left early and stopped at Morro Bay for breakfast. We saw elephant seals and took a short little hike which overlooked the beautiful coast. By mid afternoon it got very foggy and on a curve of the road we came upon a motorcyclist who had just lost control seconds before we got there. After making sure he was taken care of, we got to our hotel, we ate dinner. It was a very eventful first day!
