Day 6, our first full day in New York, was packed! These first few darker pictures were taken from my bedroom at 12am or maybe 3am. Either way, I couldn't resist such a beautiful opportunity. I loved falling asleep to the glow of lights. So beautiful. Later in the morning, 7am-ish, we left to go on a walking tour of the city. It was awesome, rain and all. Our tour guide, Mike, had a fun personality which brought the historic information to life and we liked him so much we took another tour with him on another day. On the walk, we saw famous sights such as the New York Public Library, the Rockefeller Center, and Grand Central Terminal. We were even asked to be part of a crowd and were on tv. Didn't know the people being interviewed. Afterwards, we did more sight seeing on our own. A church, Lego Store and hotel, and happened upon the American Girl Store. Then we took a little break in Bryant Park and had dinner at Pick-a-Bagel.
