So the day after coming home from Yosemite, Saturday, I celebrated the graduation of one of my dear friends, Emily! That night, I was picked up by Marty and spent the night at the Davis's new residence. The next morning, Sunday, we left early for Mexico. After picking up some doughnuts and munching on them, we walked across the border, took a taxi to the airport, got through customs, security, the airport and took off, got our luggage, waited about an hour to get our rental car, picked up some groceries before driving into the beautiful town of El Sargento where we were warmly welcomed by Damon's Dad, or Grandpa Hawk, and Pesca. After we unpacked, we drove to Las Palmas and had a yummy dinner there despite the humidity. Came home and went to bed.
Easy peasy.
I loved every minute of it and also being a Davis for the week. I could sum up this trip in one word: Adventure... but I will let the pictures and a few words tell the tale. Can't wait to share more pictures in the coming weeks!
enjoy
