-watching boats unload produce and shops being opened for the day
-discovered a market and bought some fresh strawberries
-lost ourselves in the quiet streets of Venice
-took a nap and then had dinner before venturing out in the heat
-ended the evening at St. Marks Square and enjoyed two groups of musicians
