Venice// A Tour of Venice // Day 2

Day 2 in Venice began with us waking up to church bells and loud birds. After breakfast, we walked around and we visited a shop where I ended up getting a purse. The one thing I love about both Venice and Rome was that there were lots of water fountains, which were constantly running. The water tasted great and was cold. On our walk, we saw a place were gondolas are made and later joined a tour which took us to St. Mark's Square and a unique book shop where steps were made of old books. We got to see their boat ambulances and learned that wheelbarrows are used to transport patients. At dinner, Matty and I shared squid with black ink sauce and garlic pasta. Both were great!

enjoy
