This here is the last posting of our back East family trip. I hope you have enjoyed the photos as much as I have taking them and am so glad you could join me on a virtual recap of the trip.
So here it goes.
One thing I greatly appreciated about D.C is that it gave me a greater appreciation of California's "perfect" weather. The humidity here was crazy. Can't imagine what it's like there in July and August. Anyway, we visited the beautiful United States Botanic Garden Conservatory. It had some air conditioning(: The variety of flowers was impressive. All God had to do was speak and they were. Amazing? Yes I think so.
We then hopped from one air-conditioned building to the next, which happened to be another museum. Surprise!
An American Art museum.
They had a beautiful area for people to relax and work on their computers or meet up and have a cup of tea or coffee. The most interesting/unusual part of the whole museum was watching modern dancers. It was an experience. To properly end the day and the entire trip, we just happened apron a musical group from the navy putting on a free concert. They played/sang a great variety of songs from the classics to popular movie songs.
The next morning, we woke up and got on the plane heading back home. On arrival, we were greeted and picked up by Marty, Caleb, and Ray.

It was such a memorable time filled with many favorite parts.
However, "there is no place like home."
