Silk Squash Sponge

A couple weeks ago, I dropped by to visit a dear friend on the way home from college group. While I was visiting, her parents gave me a dried silk squash they had grown and dried out. It is an amazing vegetable as it can be eaten as well as used for a dish sponge.
Epic!
So you cut the squash and let it dry out. Then you crush the outside and take off the shell. After that, you can cut and shape it however you want. It has worked well in the kitchen and does a great job cleaning dishes.

Mike & Emilie

This past May, I was thrilled to be able to assist Julie Horn in capturing Mike and Emilie's intimate wedding. The day included a beautiful ceremony,  laughter, and toasts. I enjoyed getting to know the  couple as well as their family who joined them in celebrating this special day.
