The Liebster Award

I have just been nominated by my friend Jaeleen for the Leibster award! Thank-you so much Jaeleen. I am honored that you picked me(: I love your title by the way!
"Smile... God is good!"

So here are the rules….

#1: Acknowledge the blog that nominated you

Jaeleen at Smile...God is good - check out her blog!!

#2:  Answer the 11 questions that the nominating blogger asked

1. What is your favorite song? Oh that is so hard! I think it would be Amazing Grace.

2. Do you have a favorite place (like a certain spot outside or something) to spend time with       the Lord? I love being in my bedroom. It has plenty of sun light and  is quiet for the most part, so it's a great place for devotionals.

3. Do you like to do physical things (play sports, go running…) or would you rather read a    book and do something inside? I really love doing both(:

4. Would you ever want to participate in a singing flash mob? Yes!

5. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go, and why? Paris France. I have been there before, but I love the language and the whole feel of Paris.

6. Do you have a favorite verse in the Bible? Probably Isaiah 43:2. "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you."

7. What is one gift the Lord has blessed you with, and how do you use it for His glory and to        bless others?  The ability of being able to sign. I love signing and can see using that talent to translate in churches and breaching the communication gap between the deaf and hearing pretty much anywhere.

8. One thing that annoys you ;P When people get things really close the the trash can but not in it.

9. Would you rather go shopping at the mall or go camping? Go camping!

10. Do you have a favorite quote that has really inspired you in your life? Not really although there was one that I saw more recently  by Corrie ten Boom. “There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still.” I found it very encouraging.

#3:  List 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers that deserve recognition :)

Lindsey at Skip To My Lou

Mary Catherine at wandering notes
Nika at Oen Dae
Adrianne, Raegan, Sabrina  at Girls Gone Global

2. What one word you would use to describe yourself?
3. Do you have a favorite Bible verse
4. Is there someone who has been an inspiration to you? If so who and why?
5. When did you start blogging and how do you stay inspired?
6.  Would you consider yourself type A or B?
7. What is one gift the Lord has blessed you with, and how do you use it for His glory and to        bless others?
8. One thing that annoys you ;P
9. What is your favorite season?
10. What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?

Kayaking

The same week we had tea and croquet, just a couple days before, us girls rented kayaks and then went to Lydia's for a delicious lunch. It was a beautiful day, not too hot and not to cold. I treasure the special outings with these girls.

A Painting Break

So I started college four days ago.
15.5 units total.
I like all of my teachers and things are going well so far.
It only took me seven minutes to figure out this thing people call a combination lock!
I was studying today and needed a break so I decided to do some painting.
