Hey!
I am back! I was shocked to see the last time I posted was in May but there it is. I just want to do a little catch up on what has been going on. Really this post is one big post filled of thanks. Thanks to God, my family, friends, acquaintances. I just wanted to look back at some highlights of what has happened to me these past few months. How appropriate as it it Thanksgiving tomorrow!
I am keeping this blog post simple.

Starting off is a big reason for my absence of blogging.
Thankful, after a year long wait, to be a transfer, and Deaf Studies student of CSUN.
But before that happened, Thankful for one last get together with these two. Em and Liddie.
and back to school. Thankful for a wonderful roommate and transfer buddy on the firs day of orientation. Orientation happening at 8am!
Thankful for wonderful roommates and ability to play around in the kitchen.
So thankful for the many wonderful new friendships made!

Thankful for Deaf/Hard of Hearing/Deaf studies major friends
Thankful for studying made fun
Thankful for the simple, random adventures of life
Thankful for a huge jackfruit
Thankful for an awesome gym

Grateful for the opportunity to go on a night hike

Thankful for a sleepover on the roof
Thankful for a escalator for grocery carts
Thankful for a crazy roommate that will join me on driving closer to see a fire
and then go to In-n-Out after at 2am
Sooo thankful for my awesome siblings and for all of you who have come to visit, called, texted, face timed, Skyped, sent letters, etc.
Thankful for the opportunity to meet the president of CSUN
Supper thankful for an amazing church: Shout out to Refuge LA.
Thankful for the heart of Refuge to reach out and love the community in North Hollywood.
Thankful for after church actives like hiking
and thankful for the opportunity to be a part of and serve with Grace on Campus ministries.
There are too many things that have happened in the last 5 months but, hopefully these photos have helped convey what has been happening. Things not captured by photos but that I am still so thankful for
-the academic challenges of my classes
-growth in my signing skills and cooking abilities
-learning what it means to put God first and then watch as He has shown himself more than faithful.
-the challenges that being independent bring
-Thankful for a smooth transition living in a new environment.
