Our visit to Normandy was probably my second favorite day of the whole trip. This place has such an amazing history. We woke up early to board a train and met our waiting tour guide. What made the day even more memorable was the consistent wind and rain. On the tour, our guide explained the various historical sites, Omaha and Utah Beach, the bunkers, the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, and the famous church St Mere Eglise.
