Back East | Day 8

A word to sum this day up would be eventful. We planed to go on another walking tour with our favorite tour guide, Mike, so we were up nice and early. I unfortunately got the wrong information on where it started. We showed up late but the rest of the time, it was good. We had a snack/lunch at a Chinese place were one could get five handmade dumplings for a dollar(: As we took another walk into China town, we witnessed an impatient truck drive onto the sidewalk and cut in front of the other car. We stopped for a treat at Eileen's special Cheese Cake shop. Walking some more, we took the free Staten Island ferry and got a lot of pictures of the Statue of Liberty. On our way back, we watched a talented group of break dancers and then got stuck in the subway for a while trying to figure out where we were. When we finally got above ground again, we walked some more and found a pizza place and had dinner there around 10pm-ish. We got home close to 12. While there, a woman started having a seizure right outside the pizza place so I called 911. She recovered soon after though and left with some friends and the ambulance came a bit late. It was another fun and eventful day.

Enjoy
